If your iPhone 14 Plus screen stays on during calls, causes accidental face taps, or doesn’t go black when held to your ear, the proximity sensor flex cable could be faulty or damaged. This component is part of the TrueDepth system and includes several delicate sensors responsible for detecting when the phone is close to your face. It also helps manage screen behavior, auto-brightness, and even parts of Face ID. Common symptoms of a faulty proximity sensor: • Screen stays lit when on a call • Accidental touches during calls • Screen doesn’t auto-dim or turn off • Face ID may fail if the full flex is damaged • Was replaced with a non-genuine screen We’ll replace the proximity sensor flex cable, test the entire front assembly, and make sure your screen behaves normally during calls and daily use. ✔ Proximity sensor flex replaced ✔ Prevents accidental input during calls ✔ Fully tested with Face ID diagnostics ✔ Professional part handling and refit ✔ 90-day warranty (excluding accidental damage) 🛠 Note: This component is flex-mounted and linked to Face ID. 🔁 Rescheduling & Cancellations You can reschedule or cancel your appointment up to 24 hours in advance with no fee. ⛔ Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a £10 fee to cover allocated time. ⏱️ Late Arrivals We offer a 15-minute grace period. After that, your booking may be cancelled or rescheduled based on availability. Please let us know if you're running late. 🔍 Device Inspections All devices are inspected upon arrival. 🛠️ If additional issues are found during repair, we’ll provide a quote before proceeding. No unexpected charges. 💳 Payments Payment can be made online at the time of booking, or in person before the repair starts. We accept card, cash, and online payment. 🧰 Repair Parts & Warranty All parts used are high-quality or genuine (where selected).
